Natalie offers 1:1 or 2:1 sessions from her fully equipped home studio. Everybody is different, so during your 1st session theres is a lot to learn, not only for you, but also for Natalie. During this 1 hour session, Natalie will do a full Postural Analysis of you, teach you the Basic Principles of Pilates and take you through a series of exercises using the Refomer, Chair, Arc Barrell and small equipment designed to assess the strengths and weaknesses in your body. From this Initial assessment, Natalie will be able to design a program specifically for your body’s needs and personal goals.

2:1 Sessions

For some people, exercising with a friend or loved one can make it more fun and help to keep you motivated. In these sessions you and your ‘‘training buddy’’ will have your own programs and goals but will share the session and rotate around the equipment.

Pre/Post Natal

Providing your doctor has cleared you to exercise, with its focus on breathing, posture, alignment and core, Pilates is the perfect low-impact pregnancy workout.

During pregnancy, a hormone called relaxin is produced which softens the ligaments around the pelvis in preparation for childbirth making you more prone to pelvic and lower back pain. Strengthening your deep abdominals, pelvic floor and glutes can help minimise any pain you may be experiencing. Pilates will also strengthen your legs, upper back and shoulders, all of which are put under extra stress during pregnancy. Some women also find that the mind/body connection they develop during Pilates and the attention to breathing that is required, can also help them during childbirth.

You can start Pre-Natal Pilates with Natalie from 13 weeks. After having her 1st Child in 2019 Natalie also knows how important it is for new mums to get moving again safely, not only for their physical health but also their mental health. Once you have been given clearance to exercise by your Doctor (normally around 6 weeks after birth), you are more then welcome to return to Pilates or even start your Pilates journey! At this time if you haven’t been checked for Diastasis Recti (abdominal seperation), Natalie will do this for you and can provide you with any necessary advice/referrals. You are more than welcome to bring your baby with you to your session.
